With 2016 now in full force the expectations for Idera to start getting aggressive for Embarcadero product line.   It has been highly speculate what is currently happening but this is without any written notice from Idera.  This opens nothing but hearsay or smoking guns on the demise of Delphi which is further from the truth.  Delphi is alive and doing very well all over the world, you may not hear many developers speaking about Object Pascal but there is a underlining amount of developers using either the Delphi or Free Pascal compilers. Apple OS X El Capitan is being released today.

Starting on September 30th, everybody will be able to install Apple's latest OS X update, El Capitan, on their Macs. It'll be free, and given that Apple claims its predecessor had "the fastest adoption ever" of any PC OS, it'll be popular too. El Capitan is the small one in Apple's big-then-small OS update cadence, which means that we have just a few core changes, a bunch of app updates, and a healthy pile of bug fixes. Major updates: Start-up will be faster. Split View which automatically will fill the screen with another application. Software developers have always fought to keep up with the skills necessary to make themselves marketable.  A new survey has been created by IDC / Application Developers Alliance that provides the insight on the tools used as well as organizations.   As always a survey is conducted by taking a sample from people of where they are working.  So take it with a grain of salt because certain software tools are used in particular areas of the country.
