Source Code: My Beginnings is Bill Gates’s memoir published in February 2025 details his early life to the start of Micro-Soft as he declares.
Overall the book is very difficult to read due to Gates informing the reader how intelligent he is. Gates life story is very boring and tends to show how he manipulates people to build an image of his superior presense.
Some of the book highlights were:
- Gates mother forced him and his sisters to work during trips coming up with various thoughts and projects at the end.
- Gates grandmother taught him about playing cards (poker, blackjack, etc.)
- Gates wanted to fool his school by purchasing two sets of books. Leaving one at school and one at home so he wouldn’t have to carry them. The thought was to deceive people into thinking he was so smart.
- BASIC was his bread and butter in the beginning. Thanks to the future employment of people they came up with the overwhelming Office, SQL, etc. products.
- Paul Allen was tough on him.
- How he walked at night to think about the world and his future.
- How he worked at the computer countless hours to produce software.
- How he deceived the schools into giving him free computer time share.
- Was always an outsider when it came to women.
- He wanted a black person on a school event so he can tell everyone about diversity.
The list goes on and on.
Items not discussed but millions wanted to know:
- Epstein Island
- The purchase of the ABC movie that made him and Microsoft look terrible. He buried the movie.
- Speaks about Climate Change but had African nations cut down trees to open up farm land. Gates had a heated drive way built so he didn’t have to worry about snow removal. The discussion about dumping chemicals into the clouds to reduce climate change.
- Open ended marriage.
- Countless women he has sex with while married and hanging out with Epstein.
- How he dumped Microsoft Access with low prices to destroy Foxpro, Paradox, dbase, etc.
- Gates relationship with Steve Jobs.
- What type of investment did he have with the COVID vaccine and WHO.
- His divorce.
- Corporate ruthless behavior.
Final thoughts
Bill Gates is repairing his life at the moment by stepping out with rebuilding an image that he destroyed due to his sexual issues for the past 30 years.
Save your money and time. The book is really worthless like most of Bill Gates books that tend to throw things at the wall to see what sticks.
