Will Facebook have a Dislike button or not is the question

Will Facebook have a Dislike button or not is the question ?

Facebook is testing a dislike button with certain users, effectively creating the “dislike” button.  This has been something in the making for the past 3 to 4 years with various users wishing that they could put that on a posting if they disliked the contents.  The test appeared for several users on Thursday in the comment section of posts within Facebook groups and on old Facebook memories content.

The feature appears to give users the ability to down rank certain comments. This is the first time Facebook has tested anything similar to a “dislike” button and it could theoretically allow for content that’s offensive or relevant to be pushed to the bottom of a comment feed.

This does make sense with the amount of fake news postings or something that offended someone. It’s unclear how widely the dislike button is being tested. Facebook regularly tests features with small subsets of users that tend to be heavy Facebook users.  At the moment the only functions that users can perform are either Like or Reply to comments in a thread.

In 2016 as you recall the emotions or emoji images that allow the Facebook user that could display crying or anger, etc.  This also allows Facebook staff to gauge what is triggering the Facebook world.   This will provide outside agents to receive information from Facebook on what is a hot topic or a new trend that may be occurring.

Facebook continues to evolve due to business needs and something of this nature will affect the world at one point.
