Next Version of iOS to be announced during Apple WWDC on June 4th
Apple has announced WWDC 2018 and it’ll be taking place in San Jose in just over two months. The focus will undoubtedly be on the future of iOS, and in particular iOS 12. Apple is reportedly focusing on reliability and performance in iOS 12 over new features. Apple is still rumored to be launching new universal apps that work across iPhones, iPads, and Macs. Bloomberg also previously reported that Apple will bring its Animoji characters to the iPad, thanks to a new model of the tablet that has a Face ID camera.
Apple will talk about iOS 12 and the next version of macOS at that event. Both have been well discussed in the rumor mill with reports originating from Bloomberg about a merger of iOS and macOS apps on the macOS side, and a focus on stability on the iOS side. Usually during the convention Apple announces new software, machines and what the future holds for all.
“Every year, WWDC provides an opportunity for millions of developers to learn more about how to create new experiences across Apple’s platforms for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Mac and HomePod.” Apple said via Press Release, “A broad range of robust developer APIs, including SiriKit, HomeKit, HealthKit, GymKit, MusicKit, ResearchKit, and CoreML, give developers new ways to help users take command of everything from their health and homes, to how they get around, shop and learn”
WWDC will run from June 4 to June 8, 2018, at the McEnery Convention Center. Tickets are on sale for $1,599.00, CLICK here for more information on how to attend.
