Microsoft Office 2019 will only work on Windows 10<\/h3>\n

Microsoft is providing an update on Office 2019 today, revealing that it will only run on Windows 10. On the Microsoft web site there is a\u00a0story<\/a>\u00a0for service and support of Windows and Office, Microsoft has revealed you\u2019ll need to upgrade to Windows 10 if you want the latest version of Office without subscribing to the company\u2019s Office 365 service.<\/p>\n

Microsoft Office 2019 has been one of the strongest profit making packages that Microsoft does sell and since\u00a0It\u2019s a move that\u2019s clearly designed to push businesses that are holding off on Office 365 into subscriptions to use it will have to upgrade all machines to Windows 10. This won\u2019t affect Office for Mac, which is a separate product with a different release schedule. Microsoft is also altering the support life cycle for Office 2019, so it will receive 5 years of mainstream support and then “approximately 2 years of extended support.”<\/p>\n
