{"id":1268,"date":"2026-07-04T12:44:54","date_gmt":"2026-07-04T16:44:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.baronsoftware.com\/Blog\/?p=1268"},"modified":"2026-07-04T14:05:41","modified_gmt":"2026-07-04T18:05:41","slug":"essential-guide-to-cleaning-your-keyboard-and-mouse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.baronsoftware.com\/Blog\/essential-guide-to-cleaning-your-keyboard-and-mouse\/","title":{"rendered":"Essential Guide to Cleaning Your Keyboard and Mouse"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keyboards and mice tend to get dirty over a period of time and usually it is suggested to clean them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Equipment tends to pick up dust, skin and food particles, hand sweat which affects the performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This simple task \/ procedure can be done on a monthly schedule and could extend the life cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/surface\/accessories\/mouse-keyboard\/how-do-i-clean-my-microsoft-mouse-or-keyboard\">Items needed for a IT shopping day<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Compressed air, microfiber cloths, wire keyboard puller, dawn dish soap, cotton swabs and even isopropyl alcohol can be used for the cleaning process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Weekly or Monthly cleanings<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Setting up a cleaning schedule is the first thing to accomplish.
